It is
autumn time in Pirgacha, and for some reason, the spiders and their webs flourish
as you can see on this tree, right next to my house. Many unwary insects get
caught in their nets, fight for a while and end up being digested by the
ravenous arachnids. They are digested precisely because they move and get
worked up, which makes them stay more and more attached to the sticky web.
These days when the misfortune seems to have hung over my family, I felt the
same way: trapped and restless, and that didn’t free me from the net, but make
me sink deeper and deeper. May God give us all the strength not to get caught
in the web of despair and hopelessness. We believe that God’s love is endless.
Es otoño en Pirgacha, y por alguna razón, proliferan las
arañas y sus telarañas, como puedes ver en este árbol que está justo al lado de
mi casa. Muchos insectos incautos quedan atrapados en sus redes, se debaten por
un tiempo y acaban siendo digeridos por los voraces arácnidos. Son digeridos
precisamente porque se debaten y se agitan, lo cual les hace quedarse más adheridos
a la pegajosa telaraña. Estos días en los que la desgracia parece habersecernido sobre mi familia, me sentía de la misma manera: atrapado y agitado, lo
cual no me libraba de la red, sino que me hundía más y más. Que el Señor nos dé
la fuerza a todos de no dejarnos atrapar en la red del desaliento y la
desesperanza. Confiamos en que el amor de Dios es eterno, sin límites.

GRACIAS por recordarme que el amor de Dios es un amor sin límites porque cuando olvido esta cuestión tan importante, bastante a menudo ultimamente, me dejo "atrapar" por esa telaraña gigantesca de la deseperanza que sé que ofende a Dios por mi falta de abandono en él y por confiar solamente en mis fuerzas.
Por España, las cadenas de oración aumentan por horas.....en los rincones más insospechados.
