She was
left abandoned on the back seat of a bus. It was a little
girl just a few days old. We know nothing of her parents, but
we suspect she was left because she suffers from "cleft
palate", a congenital malformation of the palate and the mouth which
gives the patient a deformed and almost monstrous appearance. The driver
and the bus conductor got the baby to our mission, knowing that
"Christians take care of these things." The parish
priest, Fr. Homrich, quickly took the little girl as a priority and
did everything he could so that she could be operated by a group of
Australian doctors from “Aussi Bangla Smile Team”, who come
every year to Bangladesh for a couple of months and operate hundreds
of children for free. Homrich named the little girl, Moriom, the Muslim
name for Mary. Now Moriom is cured; in a few months her scars will
disappear and she will become a beautiful young lady. When recovered, she
will be given in adoption to a trustful Muslim family, where she will
be a daughter. Lord, thank you for putting so many wonderful
people around: those who brought the girl, P. Homrich, the Australian doctors, the
cook at the mission who is raising the baby, the
family that will adopt her ... God, how much to learn
from the good people!

Hay muchas personas que son así. Viven para los demás de manera natural, pasando -casi- inadvertidos. Ellos son los imprescindibles! Y..... no miro a nadie.... AC
Gracias a mucha gente buena desde el conductor del autobus, el medico, la familia y los que la recogieron que hicieron posible que crezca en un hogar feliz Morion crecera segura y agradecida. Dios se encargara de ello. Adiosle.
