Usually Mandi
children do not cry, unless they have a good reason to do so, as for example when
they are sick. They never cry on a whim because they have been taught that it
would be useless. The one you see here is an exception. We found him with his
older brother next to our house crying inconsolably. There was no way of
knowing why he was crying. The funny thing is that the more he cried, the most his
brother laughed at him; whereupon, after a few moments the kid had no choice
but to stop. It reminded me of times past when we used to do the same in my
family; when someone cried, others would point out their fingers at him,
mocking him (affectionately); the effect used to be immediate: all finished up laughing
aloud, including the crybaby.
